Why do we give god a free ride?
A plane crashed in/near Somalia this week the sole survivor being a 14 year old girl. Praise god they say. What about the over hundred who perished. Where's the "screw you" god for that?
It like thanking a bully for picking on your friends and leaving you alone.
Well, god works in mysterious way, and we poor mortals can't possible understand the reasons for his actions. In that case there's no point in the praise, we don't really understand why he did that either.
