Do you get the sense that "party" is more important than country?
Here's the question to the Republican Leadership.
A) Would you rather the country recover, and unemployment fell, and people got back to work before the 2012 election and risk the country re-electing Barack Obama.
OR
B) Would you rather the economy stayed poor and unemployment remain high and increase Republican chances of retaking the white house?
Do you for one minute think you'll get the real answer? from a politician?
Clearly, the complete lack of cooperation between the parties in Congress indicates that the true answer is (A) and that the Republican Party would sacrifice your well being in order to gain power, no matter how much they protest.
